Perfect Binding also known as softcover books are glue bound at the spine to allow for an easy open and close. One of the most popular styles of books with common book types being: Novels, Memoirs, Poetry Books, and short stories.

Coil Bound books use a plastic spiral that is more durable than wire-o binding and allows the book to lay completely flat or even fold back on itself.

Wire-o-bound books have a professional look and are able to lay completely flat or even fold back on themselves. This is best used for journals, notebooks, cookbooks and log books.

Hardcover (Smyth Sewn) is the premium book binding finish. Using thread stitching and glue to bind the book together this allows the book to lay flat and allow maximum exposure for the spine. With available options such as leather, linen/ cloth covers, foil stamping and printed endsheets this book is perfect for any type of book you want printed. 

Hardcover (Gluebound) is the more economical hardcover book. The difference is these books do not lay flat and have less custom add-ons. This is best chosen if you want a hardcover book with a slightly faster production time and lower price.

Flexibound Books uses a combination of a lighter cardstock and wrapping to allow for a sturdier book with a flexible cover. Using Smyth sewn binding, this book can layflat and can be finished with cloth/linen or leather finishing, making this style one of the hottest growing cover finishes in the market.

Board Books are printed on a thicker paperboard and used for both the cover and the inside pages. These books can layflat and are recommended for smaller children because of their durability.

Thread Stitch or sewn binding uses one thread to hold the pages together and is folded over to produce a stylish and secure binding. Ideally used for a more aesthetic and artistic look.

Saddle-Stitch booklets are folded in the middle, and the entire booklet is stapled twice on the fold. This is a popular choice for authors of children's books and comic book authors.
