Hardcover Books
Typical hardcover books (also known as casebound books) are printed on acid-free paper, bound with rigid hardboard covers, often printed with a full color cover, wrap around on grey board with thickness of 2.5mm – 3.5mm plus choice of lamination.
Specialty cover materials are available for hardcover books, such as cloth, linen, leather and other heavy paper.
Extra cover finishing such as spot UV, embossing/debossing, foil stamping, glittering and flocking is also available. (see more on Cover Finishing)
Hardcover books are often finished with Smyth sewn provides lay-flat ability which allows the book to lie on a surface when opened. (see more on Binding Options)

Softcover Books
Softcover books often come in the form of paperbacks, characterized by a thick paper or paperboard cover, and held together with glue. Covers are printed full color on 10pt or 12pt cardstocks with the choice of lamination. Choices for content paper include glossy, matte or uncoated stock.
Extra finishing on cardstock covers are available and include spot UV, embossing, debossing and foil stamping (see more on Cover Finishing).
Softcover books are often printed on 30% recycled environmental friendly paper.
There are many different types of softcover books in the market, the products include: Perfect Bound Books, Coil/Wire-O Book, Flexibound Books and Saddle Stitch Book.
We are capable of manufacturing all types of softcover products while the most common type of softcover book would be glue binding or Perfect Binding.
